May 11' 2012 - Burris Thunder Tour Race Time
Change Important Important!!!!!
We have made a decision to make a few changes in
the starting times of the races for Saturday's
event due to the amount of karting entries that
are expected. Here is the new schedule for Ben
Hur Speedway on May 18th and 19th
Friday May 18th
2 PM Gates open
2:00 PM- 5:00 PM Parking/Registration
4:30 PM - 4:45 PM Drivers Meeting
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM 1 Round of controlled practice
6:30 PM Qualifying/Racing begins
Saturday May 19th
7:00 AM Gates Open
7:00 AM - 9:00 AM Parking/Registration
8:45 AM - 9:15 AM Drives Meeting
9:30 AM - 12:00 PM 2 rounds of controlled
practice
12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Employee break
1:00 PM Qualifying/Racing begins
Please pass the word to everyone you know is
coming!!!
On Friday May 18th if you are a race sponsor you
will be allowed to enter the track 1 hour early.
Please note this means just you not everyone
that is parking with you. They will have their
spots assigned next to you but will have to wait
in line like everyone else.
See everyone in a week!!!!
We have decided to do reserved parking at all of
the Burris Thunder Tour events. If you would
like to reserve your pit spots for the upcoming
season opener at Ben Hur Speedway please print
the reserved parking form and it must be
received by May 15th.
Also to help speed up registration time at the
shows we have decided to accept pre registration
for all classes Friday and Saturday. If you wish
to speed up your registration time at the track
please print out the pre registration form and
it must be received by May 11th. There is no
additional fee's if you choose to sign up the
day of the race you will just be waiting in a
much longer line to get registered. Also
remember that only cash is acceptable the day of
the event.
The deadline to have your name on the 2012
drivers t-shirt is going to be May 4th. If you
would like your name to appear on this shirt we
must receive your paid membership form in before
this date. Any memberships received after this
date will not get your name on the shirt.
