2010 Adult Clone Rules
We are going to be following the 2010 AKRA Clone rules with the following local options.
- In addition to the list of allowed engines the Dupar Motor will also be allowed.
- Any steel drum shoe clutch will be allowed (NO DISK CLUTCHES).
- Cam Shaft: Please be aware that the first run of cams from Dyno CL-1 will not meet tech in some engines. There is a slight rocker arm ratio difference from engine to engine. The optional cam is CL-1M.
- HEADER and MUFFLER: Any single stage, one piece header made of .750” I.D. steel tubing will be allowed. The muffler must be a stock muffler RLVB91 or its equivalent. The tube style muffler may be welded. The entire exhaust pipe including the muffler is 14” max length and 10” min length. If you run a pipe only without muffler then you must have a washer welded on the end of the pipe.
- CLAIMER RULE: You must finish the feature race in the top 5 positions in order to claim the winner’s engine for $175.00. You must at that time exchange motors with the winner (minus the clutch/chain guard/throttle kit, header pipe/muffler, air filter adaptor/air filter, top plate and fuel pump).
